Juncal Garrido, focuses on C-Suite and Board assignments in the industry &  digital sectors, where she recruits across functions for senior executive positions, working with clients in Europe and Latam. 

In the past, she was a  partner at Heidrick & Struggles. Before that, Juncal spent 11 years at Russell Reynolds Associates, where she led the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging practice in Europe. During her tenure, Juncal was responsible for some global accounts headquartered in Zürick, Paris and London. Before turning into a Headhunter, she was Management Consultant in the Strategy and Portfolio Division of Shell International Petroleum, based in London, Beijing, Guatemala City and Madrid, where she worked on a range of assignments covering Midstream and Downstream. She began her career at Universal Studio’s Port Aventura Theme Park.

Juncal recently completed a number of C level searches for international  companies. She has also recruited Non Executive Directors for both family owned and publicly traded companies.  She is also the founder of Smobhub and Board & Leaders.
Juncal received her master’s degree, with honours, in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and her M.B.A. from IESE Business School in Barcelona and Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. She is fluent in English, German and Spanish and has a medium level of Italian.
