Gerlie has held strategic advisory roles with organizations focused on leadership development and global business transformation. She worked with clinical and forensic psychologists on CEO hiring assessments and executive searches at the Human Relations Institute and served as a Strategic Advisor at Consulting Centre, a global consulting firm specializing in tax, legal, and finance services. As Head of Executive Education Rome Business School, she designed leadership programs for international organizations, as a Business Development Manager she also led over 100 strategic alliances across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Americas, supporting global expansion, market entry, and leadership talent pipelines. Her early career with the commercial diplomacy office of the Republic of Panama Embassy in the UAE shaped her expertise in international relations, diplomacy, and business development, forming the foundation of her advisory approach. 


Recognized for her commitment to leadership excellence and DEI advocacy, Gerlie serves on advisory boards, scientific committees, and as an ambassador for leadership and women's advancement initiatives. She served as President and Board Member of the Professional Women Association, an active member of the Women Economic Forum, and as Country Director for Employment and Education Wing of G100 – the eminent global network of top 100 women leaders worldwide. Gerlie holds academic credentials from De La Salle University (DLSUD) and University of Perpetual Help (UPHR).
